Please note, we advise all customers in email correspondence to read the below terms and conditions prior to placing an order with Artcadia. Once an order is placed, you have signified your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.
Artcadia reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the website and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website and your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.
All orders that you place with Artcadia will be subject to acceptance in accordance with these terms and conditions.
Cancelling an order
Should you decide to cancel an order once design work has been undertaken and design proofs exchanged, a 50% refund will be issued.
Proof approval
Design proofs are sent via email, using the wording and layout agreed in your order. Please note that you are responsible for checking layout, wording, spelling and grammar. If designs are approved and signed off with typos or errors and subsequently printed, Artcadia takes no responsibility. If replacements are required, they will be charged for in full.
Design and proofing is timely and as such is factored into our pricing, we provide 2 free rounds of proof revisions, before a charge of £15 per proof is incurred.
Artcadia will always print as per the proof that is approved, unless Artcadia deviates from the approved proof, a refund or reprint will not be offered.
Colour
Because computer monitors and web browsers vary, the ink colours used in JPEG proofs of your stationery may appear differently in person, once they have been letterpress or digitally printed. To get a better idea of how a colour will look once it has been printed; please place a sample order indicating the ink colour(s) you are considering but even the slightest difference in the amount of ink on the press can lead to a slight change in the depth of colour and final colour representation, so a hard copy colour sample can’t always be matched exactly.
Please note that colours can vary slightly between different press runs, so if you’re very particular about wanting ink colours exactly the same throughout all stationery items, we recommend ordering all of your pieces together (save the dates, invitations, menus, etc.) For this reason a sample may look a little different in shade and depth from your printed stationery, unfortunately this cannot be avoided. Colours will also look different letterpress printed than when printed digitally. Your home printer will not provide an accurate representation of colour.
Table plans and other large scale items are printed externally, therefore the colour of these items may differ slightly to that of the stationery produced in house at Artcadia.
As each letterpress piece is printed and finished by hand slight variations and irregularities do occur. This is what gives letterpress stationery its handcrafted charm.
Samples
Samples are sent as a means for the customer to see the quality of the products on offer only. Due to all the variables in design and print, we cannot guarantee that your order will replicate a sample previously received. Artcadia is dependent on a number of suppliers whose product lines can vary. 100% recycled materials will always have some degree of variation in production runs.
Timescales
Once we have received your order information and payment in full, we aim to get your design proofs to you within three working days. Once approved, your finished stationery will be delivered within 7-12 working days. Every effort is made to get orders processed and sent as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, these timings may change due to circumstances beyond our control, but we will always keep you updated on your order.
International Delivery
Artcadia is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier. Customs Fees / Import Duties are not a part of Artcadia's shipping fees. Please note that any international delivery may exceed expected delivery time.
