How do I place an order? Simply send us an email and let us know you’re ready to place an order. We'll need to know the range you're interested in and the quantity of items required. If you're happy to proceed we will email you a list of details we'll require to complete your order and an invoice for payment. We require full payment prior to commencement of design work.
How do I make payment for my order? We will include available payment options on your invoice. Our preferred method of payment is BACS transfer. We take cheques and can accept credit and debit card payments over the phone. There is however a 2% charge for using this service.
What is the turnaround time for a wedding stationery order? We email your first digital proof within 1-3 working days via email. Once approved, we will print and deliver your stationery within 7-12 working days. If you need your order sooner, we can, on occasion, rush your order for an additional 10% charge.
What kinds of shipping options are available? Your stationery will be delivered by Interlink Next Day Courier, Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery, Royal Mail Special Delivery, UPS or DHL. All shipping options will require a signature upon delivery.
Can I order a sample? Absolutely! Sample packs can be purchased here. Please note we cannot issue personalised items and not all items are available for sample in all colours/fonts etc. Samples are a means to see the quality of our materials and print. Please allow 5 working days for delivery. If you have requested a sample which is not available, we will contact you via email to offer the option of a refund, an alternative sample, or a waiting time for the next print run of that particular item.
Can I change the fonts and colours of an invitation design from the original? We love typography and the fonts we have chosen are what we feel work best within the design of our stationery. If however there's a font you love, we’re more than happy to change fonts at no extra cost. We'll gladly tweak the colour way of an existing design, but will advise if we feel your preference won't work in print. Letterpress items can be printed in any colour from our ink palette, or we can mix a custom Pantone ink if you provide us with a Pantone code or swatch.
Can you recommend a calligrapher? Fluid Calligraphy provides beautiful hand-penned calligraphy on invitations, envelopes, place cards and escort cards. We can forward your stationery directly to Jessica at Fluid Calligraphy for inscription. www.fluidcalligraphy.co.uk
What are your refund and cancellation policies? We cannot accept returns and don’t offer refunds. By approving your final proof you accept responsibility for the information and layout as shown. If errors are discovered after proof approval, we are required to charge for a reprint.
Can I ask Artcadia to replicate a design I've seen elsewhere? Absolutely not. This is a violation of copyright law. If you've seen a design you love elsewhere, we advise you contact the original designer and order from them.
I've got an image I'd like to include in a stationery design, can you use it? If you have a design that you'd like us to letterpress, we will require it as a black and white vector file of the image. We can accept but aren’t limited to .ai or .eps files.
We cannot print images that have come from websites as they are probably the property of the respective site owners and are generally not available for us to use. Also, website images are usually 72dpi only and do not print crisply.
Can you provide me with printable files? We only offer design and print packages and do not exchange printable artwork files. This includes stationery designs, motifs and other design elements. All stationery, artwork and designs are the copyright of Artcadia. All rights reserved. They may not be reproduced in any form without our written permission. Any improper or illegal of artwork or designs will be pursued.
What quantity should I order? Artcadia recommends 60% of your total guest number. Remember you are sending one invitation per household, not per guest. It is however wise to consider that you may need keepsakes and if you’re handwriting the invitations or addressing the envelopes, mistakes can be made and reprints are costly.
How can I address my guests on the invitation? We can't offer letterpress printed guest names on invitations due to the printing process. However, if you would like to personally address your guests on your invitations, you may consider adding a line or space on which to hand write or calligraph your guest names. Also consider addressing guests on the envelope. For digitally printed designs we can print guest names for an extra 75p per item.
Do you ship internationally? We can offer international shipping, please contact us for shipping rates. Please note, Artcadia is not responsible for any customs fees or duties incurred on international shipments, as these are the responsibility of the purchaser. Please check with your local customs office about rules and regulations that may apply to you. International deliveries often exceed expected delivery times and we encourage patience in this time.
Can I see a hard copy before going to print? We can send you a hard copy of your digitally printed stationery prior to order printing for £15. We advise this especially for custom orders, to ensure colour representation is as desired. Regretfully, due to the process, we cannot send hard copies of letterpress or hot foil items prior to order printing.
Will the colour of my stationery look like it does on my computer screen? Not necessarily. Due to variations in monitor calibration, colour can differ to its appearance in print. For this reason, we cannot offer refunds or returns on the basis that colour appears differently to on screen design proofs.
